Federação das Organizações Indígenas do Rio Negro (Amazon, Brazil)
 

The largest and best structured indigenous organization in Brazil, from the Amazon rainforest city of São Gabriel da Cachoeira they have a membership of indigenous groups that implement rights in education, health, environment and economic alternatives as public policies detailed in their second term, newly issued 10-year Regional Plan for Sustainable Development.

   
Saude Sem Limites (São Paulo, Brazil) 

 

A private non-governmental NGO organizationthat has reached 17,000 indigenous peoples. SSL is a member of the Health District Councils in the Amazon and represents all NGOs in Amazon districts on the Consultative Committee on National Policy Towards Indigenous Health. SSL develops health, education and training projects.

   

First Nations Centre at NAHO (Ottawa, Canada 

FNC is dedicated to improving the health of its First Nations peoples and communities by offering multi-disciplinary team in policy research and analysis in such areas as indigenous knowledge, legal, political and socio-cultural systems, Native law and rights. The FNC develops tools and processes to assist in building capacity and transferring knowledge.
   
Assembly of First Nations (Ottawa, Canada)

A national organization that represents Canada's First Nations citizens, it includes 750,000 people in 633 communities, includes a pan-Canadian policy network of First Nations health technicians and service providers on community engagement, sustainability and program issues with strategic linkages to the Women's Council, and Youth & Elders Council.
